The legends of doom celebrates 25 years as a band with an extra long performance at Debaser Medis in Stockholm december 18.
The classic album ”Epicus Doomicus Metalicus” will be performed in its entirety for the first time with the original singer Johan Längqvist!!
Robert Lowe will of course also be on stage this evening singing both old and new material at this mega cool event!!

Finally the new DVD is out. Well…it turns out it is a CD + DVD package.
Anyway, it contains the show from Sweden Rock as audio on one disc, and on the other you get both the SRF gig on dvd as well as the show from Athens, plus photogalleries and an interview = Good value for money!!
If you wanna spend more hard earned cash, you also have the SRF show and Athens on vinyl. 2 double exclusive 180 gram LP’s. The SRF DLP comes on blue and yellow vinyl, as the swedish flag. The Athens version is blue and white as the greek flag.
Both of the double LP’s are incredibly cool with loads of nice photos!

Candlemass are very sorry for the last weeks cancellations. The band haven’t missed a show in over 20 years and now it happens twice in one week!
Please don’t blame it on the band. Believe us…we would rather play great shows at cool festivals than just sitting on our asses at home!
But we can’t fight a volcano on Iceland. We´ve been following the latest news 10 times per day, and when airports opens and closes every day depending on the wind, nobody can say if we can get back from Germany or not, and we really don’t wanna be stranded in Frankfurt with lots of other unfortunate travellers.
A bus or Van wasn’t an alternative. The band wouldn’t be in good shape either after over 20 hours in a car. No point in playing shows that are so-so…also…Lars has got a very bad back.
The promotor for K.I.T. understood this when we told him a couple of days ago, but nevertheless put out a remark about it yesterday.
Sorry, but we are not 20 anymore…..Blame the fucking volcano…not us!!! Anyway…a 1000 apologies to all the fans of true heavy metal that went to Keep It True!!!

I’m devastated, and very sad!! I hate to sit on my ass here in Stockholm when i could be in Tilburg having the time of my life!
See Death Row, Witchfynde, Shrinebuilder, Triptycon AND do a classic Candlemass show!!! I wanted this soo much!! Been preparing it for months!!
Then a bloody volcano on iceland ruins everything!!!!
I want you to know that we really tried to see if it was possible to get down by car. If it was 12 hours in a car to Tilburg, we would have done it.
But all calculations pointed to 18 – 20 hrs instead. And that is just too much…
Our driver refused after thinking about it, and another guy we talked just laughed at us….insanity!!
We would have arrived in terrible condition to Tilburg sat morning 0600 – 0800….and nobody gains on that. The show would have been soso..
I hope you understand. And we have to make it up to you somehow. Maybe Roadburn next year??
Again…i feel totally crap about not being in Tilburg right now!! There’s not a place on earth i’d rather be, than at Roadburn today to give all you doom fanatics a great show!!
But the gods of wrath were against us! Not much you can do about angry volcanos i’m afraid!!
